EMA: dose-dependent xenograft efficacy with pharmacodynamic effect at clinically achievable plasma levels
“Oral capivasertib inhibited tumour growth in various mouse xenograft models including patient-derived ER+ breast cancer xenografts in a dose-dependent fashion. This was accompanied by the inhibition of phosphorylation of AKT downstream targets in a time- and dose-dependent manner demonstrating a pharmacodynamic effect at clinically achievable plasma drug levels.”
